Procrastination in business environment can be seen for many reasons:
Employee may not know where to start on a task, sometimes he may not understand a task, he may dislike the task, or may worry that he cannot complete a task successfully .so he always prefer to do simple task by the difficult one.this strategy help him to give mental energy and confidence to tackle with hard.the result will find that the work become easier than previous.
If any employee leaves difficult tasks until shortly before their deadlines he or she will have less energy to complete this task. Additionally, the apprehension and dread associated with the completion of the task that has been procrastinated may affect a person’s ability to complete other tasks throughout the day.
Goals can be very effective ways to meet work-place demands in a timely manner. Goals are always measurable; sometimes they are short-term objectives or long term. Setting an appropriate goal can better organize employee’s day or week. Overly difficult goals are also not motivational,employee and even team may leave it very soon because of its toughness and challenge and it push the due date of achieving the commited goal.
Evaluations which mostly impact on setting the goals can a positive advantage to improve time management.
