Mr. Anwar also told me about the performance appraisal system of the employees. And I also meet with the HR executive Miss Amber. She also told me about the HR policies and guides me about the rules and regulation of employees.

This day I spend with the HR Executive Madam Amber. She told to me that she controls HR functions in the Nippon paints. She also manages the leaves and other application of the employees. After checking the leaves applications of employees she forwards a report towards HR manager. She give me information that how to write the application data in the record than She gives me some application of employees to write its information in the register.

I meet with the Miss Fozia Butt. She is working as Customer Representative and in compliant cell. She told to me that she receive letters and check emails daily of the company she assign me a work to separate the letters of orders and forward these letters towards sales department. She also attends the calls of company. She told me that if any customer calls than we should speak politely with that person. And she advise me that when any customer or any dealer complain it is forwarded towards quality manager that there is the issue of Quality and the dealers compliant about the late delivery of goods or new order should forwarded towards sales department.

I visit the production process of paint that how paint is prepared. First of all they select the formula of paint that which type of paint is manufactured after this they create a mixture of water, antibacterial, white powder and PVA after this mixture is put into the high pressure tank and it converted into the paint

One day I have spent in QC Lab it controlled by Abid Azeem. In the QC lab the colour is matched with each other while the production of each colour is same or not and the quality of colour is also checked in QC lab.

I work at the SAP software. The SAP software of NIPPON is directly link with the Head office of NIPPON. If any transaction is take place in the NIPPON Lahore than its data automatically sent towards the head office of the NIPPON PAINTS.

The office they told me about the ORACLE software this software is used to enter the data in to the database of company. By using this software we can enter the data related to employees very easy.

3.2 Accomplishments

First of all I complete the questioner of job description. I also complete my work to check the register of employees.

3.3 New Knowledge Acquired

During internship I acquired new knowledge and skills in the Nippon paints.I learned all HR functions like HR policies, Hiring procedure and training of employees, performance appraisal and salary package etc. I also learned about SAP software and ORACLE software in the Nippon paints which are used in the organization.

3.4 Problems Encountered

In the Nippon paints internees are not properly facilitate.

There is no pick and drop facility for the internees.

3.5 How Experience Impacts on my Career

Internship was my first step in practical life, through which I learnt a lot and it has aided me in being well equipped with valuable experience that would help me once I enter the professional life after the completion of my studies. During the month of June and July 2010, I worked in nippon’s paints (Pakistan) as an internee. My association with this company was being a part of the HR Department. It was a great experience for me and it helped me in realizing where my potential lies. What I learnt at Nippon’s paints (Pakistan) over the weeks was how to manage. The experience has taught me responsibility, teamwork and how to handle demand of recruitment and selection.This internship overall has been a great experience.
