With the passage of time, fashion makes our life colorful and changes our life with the time, so fashion is not a new thing in the world as it is found everywhere. Fashion changed from time to time but it has shown its existence in all ages. Not only young people do fashion, children, old people also do it. The ways in which people have behaved and dressed has changed throughout history and differs from place to place around the world. Fashion is ultimately important due to it is not just concealing your body, it also can change your external and internal expression.

The type of clothing completely depends on the person what you wearing it, thereby it becomes a reflection of his perception of himself, and this is concerned to our personal identity. Discrimination is in everywhere, but this is felt more especially for their clothes in city life. Many wealthy people will discriminate against the identity of vulgar people, because they are destitute and wearing a poor clothes. For example, if you attend some festive occasions, you will encounter a different identity of people who are dressed more gorgeous than the daily. For that matter, Fashion can avoid discrimination because your dress similar to the public. Poor fashion choices in the eyes of others can often be a ridicule. On the other hand, you will get attention and respect if your dress well. In addition to expressing your personality through fashion, you also can express your feeling about yourselves. If I am wearing tight fitting or short clothes when I am speaker in the speech, I never feel good about myself. However, if I am wearing comfortable clothes, then I feel too much confidence in myself. Fashion styles make people feel better about them. When you feel good in what you are wearing, you find yourself in a better mood, and in turn people will begin to view you differently. Fashion is essential because it can bring many positive aspects to your life. In a word, it is conducive to our image, our emotion, and our self-esteem.

Your first impression is greatly important to other people’s view. Your face cannot change, but your fashion can be converted to make you become more good-looking., at least it would not make people nasty for dressing better. Your clothing influences your professional life and your personal life as well. Not only is fashion a powerful way of manipulating the public’s opinion of you, it also allows you to convey your individuality. For instance, when you have a job interview, if your clothing is inappropriate with wearing jeans, T-shirt and slippers, you does not respect your interviewer. Wearing different style of clothes in different situations, a person’s image is also the job of the important factors for success. The significance of fashion is primarily attributed to the fact that everybody wants to look good and best for his or her lover. Teens always are conscious about their image when it comes to sexual attraction, fashion is good way for you to make a couple easily and enhancing your confidence when your confession. Otherwise, there are many people who love to look good for their own selves and feel proud to be considered as fashion conscious or fashionable.

Some people may say that it is not important for them to be a fashionable person; they have already enough to reach physiological needs of clothing such as keeping warm, it is not necessary for them to be fashionable. To a certain extent they are right, but in today’s developed society, the old-fashioned would be very difficult to be accepted by society. When a person has reached basic physiological needs, the people will be the pursuit of higher living culture, so that people and society will advance. We survive in a civilized society, and fashion is a culture. Fashion can also be used as a form of self-expression and adornment. People may dress to identify with a specific group of people, or with a particular performing artist they adore. Alternately, some people deliberately stray from mainstream fashion because they want to be seen as unique and one-of-a-kind. Others may choose not to follow mainstream fashion simply because it isn’t important to them. If the way in which an individual dresses is not accepted by the culture and society in which the person wants to be accepted into, then the way in which the individual chooses to dress may change.

The oriental-followers are easily defined from the crowd by the specific collars and style of dressing they hold on to. The liberation of culture off the borders made the cultural fashion developments increase dramatically. The “freedom of word” has found a place in every single cultural attribute nowadays. Wearing a cowboy hat may not be a sign of being from Texas, but a sign of political preference. For instance it is very easy to distinguish a European from a Hindu by the style of dressing or an Indian woman from an oriental woman by the distinctive spot on the forehead of an Indian woman and a veil worn by Moslem woman. Fashion has taken the best part of the traditional costumes of every culture and sometimes this leads to propagandizing a definite cultural group. For instance, the brightest example is the increasing interest towards the Moslems and oriental culture nowadays.

Fashion is ultimately important because it is a form of communication. You are communicating to others who you are and what is important to you, whether or not you realize it. The same way of dressing could be viewed completely different in two or more areas of the world. Therefore, it is important to be aware of what is acceptable and what is not in a given society.

Communication by its definition is supposed to be bilateral. So if a person carries a strong personal message to the people outside what is the response from their side? The response is the reaction on the clothes the person it wearing. It can be acceptance or complete outcast and a misunderstanding. One of the questions concerning the communication through fashion is whether the message possessed by fashion is the reflection of the internal or external identity. There are arguments that support each of the sides; therefore it goes without saying that fashion is a “polyhedral being” that intersects numerous internal and external aspects of any personality. The message that clothing contains is basically a way of nonverbal communication with gender, ethical and power aspects.
